Branded Packing Lists


Use your logo to create custom branded packing lists with Descartes ShipRush.

Note: Branded packing lists use the same logo file as branded tracking pages and branded emails. The recommended logo size is 500px wide.


Setting Up a Branded Packing List

To set up a Branded Packing List:

  1. In the main menu, click SETTINGS.

  2. Click ACCOUNT SETTINGS.


  3. Click Packing List.


  4. On the Packing list template dropdown (see graphic below), select a default Packing List Template or a different one.

  5. Click the Upload image icon (see arrow in graphic below).


  6. Drag the file into the space provided; or click Choose File, and then select the file. The recommended logo size is 500px wide or smaller. Acceptable file types are: .jfif, .jpeg, .pjpeg, .jpg, .png, and .pjp.


  7. Click Print Test Label to print a test Packing List.


  8. Click Open. On the Packing List printout, check for proper logo display and formatting.

Note: Your branded Packing Slip template is saved automatically.


Advanced Branded Packing Lists

If your developer or designer is fluent in html code, they can create an advanced custom-branded Packing List. Your html expert may either copy and paste the source code from an existing Packing List template and modify it, or write new code.

  1. Click Templates. Scroll to Packing List Templates.

  2. Click the + (plus sign) to create a new Packing List template.


  3. Copy and paste the HTML code into the text field. Your developer or designer will need to add @ snippets from the right sidebar menu to ensure that ShipRush information will correctly populate your custom branded Packing List. Live chat with our support team if you need assistance.


  4. Preview your design. Click Preview Page or Preview in Browser (bottom of window) to review your design.


  5. When you are satisfied, click Save.

  6. Your new template is available in the “Packing List Templates”. Click Packing List on the left sidebar menu. On the Packing list template dropdown, select your new Packing List template.


Note: Your new Packing List template, if selected, is applied automatically to all Orders.
