A report contains information for the selected Web Store and shipping/Carrier account. The report can be limited by date range (Ship Date or Order Date).
Note: Certain reports include fields for "Order details." However, Order details are not accessible for Shipments created in Descartes ShipRush Web via the New Shipment button (at top of screen).
PDF - OrderManager Style
The PDF - OrderManager style report is generated from the Settings > Reports page (SETTINGS > ACCOUNT SETTINGS > Reports > Order and Shipment). The PDF - OrderManager style report option is available at the bottom of the Settings - Reports page.
The PDF - OrderManager style report generates a PDF file that contains Shipment details for three Shipments per page. Although this report provides minimal Order Details, it can be a helpful reference if you need an easily readable report that contains a few days of Shipment information.
MS™ Excel™ Default Report
The Excel Default report is generated from the Settings - Report page (SETTINGS > ACCOUNT SETTINGS > Reports > Order and Shipment). The Excel Default report option is available at the bottom of the Settings - Reports page.
The Excel Default report provides Order Details but does not include item information. Use this report if you need a detailed report without the inclusion of line-item details. A single row in the worksheet contains information for a single Order. The report includes a variety of information, such as Order Number, Ship To information, Ship From information, and Order Subtotal.
Excel - With Line Items Report
The Excel - with Line Items report matches the Excel Default report (above), except each Order's line items are listed in the report.
The Excel - With Line Items report is generated from the Settings - Reports page (SETTINGS > ACCOUNT SETTINGS > Reports > Order and Shipment). The Excel - With Line Items option is available at the bottom of the Settings - Reports page.
The Excel - With Line Items report includes a separate row for each line item in the Order. For example, Order 100001559 (highlighted in the graphic below) is listed five times, because the Order includes five different items (highlighted in the Order Item Description column).
XML Report
The XML report includes the same information as the Excel reports (above), but in an XML file. This report is useful if you:
Use a custom reporting tool in which you need to import information quickly
Want to build custom systems that can handle Excel feeds
The XML report is generated from the Settings - Reports page (SETTINGS > ACCOUNT SETTINGS > Reports > Order and Shipment). The XML report option is available at the bottom of the Settings - Reports page.
Pivot Tables
Pivot Tables can be used in MS Excel to better group the information, such as by shipping costs or the shipping Services used. The information can also be grouped, for example, to see the amount of money spent on Priority, First Class, and Express shipping.
Note: Click here for details on creating a Pivot Table in an MS Excel worksheet.
This example worksheet contains a Transaction report generated from the Billing - Payments page (SETTINGS > ACCOUNT SETTINGS > Billing > Billing - Payments). It also includes an example pivot table.
Creating a Report from Shipments List
Descartes ShipRush Web can generate reports from the Shipments lists. Do the following:
Display a Shipments list by clicking an option under SHIPMENTS (in the main menu) or performing a search. For example, search for a Service or a destination city.
Check the box (far left) for each Order/Shipment to include in the report.
On the More menu, click Export shipments to Excel.
Choose to open or save the report file.
This report was generated by first searching for UPS Ground.
Postage Transaction Reports
Postage Transaction Reports can be generated to an Excel file. The report shows the activities against your postage account--including printed labels, deposited funds, and approved void requests.
Go to SETTINGS > SHIPRUSH USPS > your USPS account > Billing - Postage. Enter a date range. If available, you can also include void shipments information in the report.
