Installing the Miva Merchant Module

To install the Miva Merchant Module:

  1. In Descartes ShipRush Web, click SETTINGS, and then click Add Web Store (top of screen). The Web Store Configuration dialog is displayed.

  2. On the Select a Web Store dropdown, select Miva.

  3. Click Next. The Miva Setup Instructions dialog is displayed.

  4. Perform Step 1 (highlighted in the graphic above) to download the Miva Merchant module file (ShippingZMiva.mvc). Save the file to your local drive or other convenient location.

  5. Perform Steps 2 and 3.

  6. In the dialog, click MY WEB STORE IS CONFIGURED!

  7. Continue through the setup wizard until complete.

  8. Log in to the Miva Merchant Admin site.

  9. Click Settings, and then click Modules (highlighted at bottom of graphic below).

  10. In the search field, enter Descartes, and then execute the search. The Descartes ShipRush Module should be found
    .

  11. Click Install to upload the ShippingZMiva.mvc file.
    The above step may take a long time because the module creates tables in the store's database and populates the tables with existing Order information.

  12. Once the installation is complete, a new tab should appear on the Order Fulfillment page.


Activating the Miva Merchant Module for Your Store

To activate the Miva Merchant module:

  1. Click Order Fulfillment Settings to open the Order Fulfillment Settings page.

  2. On the left tab, find the Descartes ShipRush Module for Miva.

    The Product ID allows you to specify whether the Miva Product Code field or product SKU field is exported to ShipRush as the product identifier.
    The Authorized State indicates the order is treated as paid or not paid.

  3. To save your changes, click Update. The next data export will reflect the new settings.


Identifying the Version of Your Miva Merchant Module Module

To identify the version of your installed Miva Merchant module (ShippingZMiva.mvc):

  1. Go into Modules | Add/Remove Modules section of the admin navigation screen.

  2. Search for Descartes to display the current release version installed along with the provider.


Uninstalling the ShipRush Miva Merchant Module

Warning: Performing the following Steps will delete the ShipRush tables permanently from your Miva Store database. The historical information from previous installations will no longer exist, even if you reinstall the module.

To uninstall the Miva Merchant module (ShippingZMiva.mvc):

  1. On the Admin panel, click Settings.

  2. Click Modules.

  3. In the search bar, enter Descartes to list the ShipRush module.

  4. Click the ellipsis (highlighted above), and then click Uninstall.
