Setting Up OpenCart in Descartes ShipRush Web

You need FTP access to your OpenCart store in order to setup OpenCart in Descartes ShipRush Web. If you do not have FTP access, contact your web master or have your web master perform the setup.

Before performing the setup, click here for the list of OpenCart versions supported by Descartes ShipRush Web, requirements information, and other important information.

To setup OpenCart in Descartes ShipRush Web:

  1. Click SETTINGS, and then click Add Web Store (top of screen). The Web Store Configuration dialog is displayed.

  2. On the Select a Web Store dropdown, select OpenCart.

  3. Click Next. The OpenCart Setup Instructions dialog is displayed.

  4. Do one of the following:

    • To perform the setup manually, click FTP not working? Click to setup manually, and then go through the wizard. You will download a zip file. Review the readme file included in the zip file.

    • To setup automatically, click I HAVE FTP SERVER AND LOGIN. Go through the wizard until complete.

Yes

Buyer-requested shipping Carrier and Service retrieved?

Yes, if a match is found to the Services. (In SETTINGS, a mapping can be set up.)

Weight and Dimensions?

Weight: Yes

Dimensions: No

Delay to receive orders in Descartes ShipRush Web?

Pressing F5 (refresh) retrieves all OpenCart Orders up to approximately 10 minutes ago.

Are past orders retrieved on a new setup of Descartes ShipRush Web?

Yes. The most recent two days of Orders are retrieved.

Can Descartes ShipRush Web determine whether those "past" Orders have already been shipped?

Yes

Cart updated with Shipment information?

Yes. The tracking number is posted to OpenCart.
