Delay to receive orders in Descartes ShipRush Web?

Pressing Refresh in Descartes ShipRush Web retrieves all PayPal orders up to approximately five minutes ago.

Are past orders retrieved on a new setup of Descartes ShipRush Web?

Yes. Up to two days of past sales are retrieved.

Can Descartes ShipRush determine whether those "past" Orders have already been shipped?

No. PayPal does not tell us which Orders have been shipped.

Are PayPal transactions updated with Shipment information?

No. The PayPal system lacks a way for shipping systems to do this.

I sell on eBay and also have a web store that accepts PayPal payments. How does that work?

Descartes ShipRush Web can take its feed from multiple web stores or channels. Set this up by using the Adding a Web Store wizard.

All of these "web stores" appear in Descartes ShipRush Web. Use your eBay web store to ship all of your eBay orders. Then, use the PayPal web store to ship all of your non-eBay orders that were paid through PayPal.

An option is to set up two PayPal accounts: One for eBay sales and one for off-eBay sales. Set up to hook to your eBay account and your off-eBay PayPal account.

I downloaded a group of Orders that were shipped outside of Descartes ShipRush Web. However, Descartes ShipRush Web indicates that each of those Orders is "Ready to Ship" or "Unshipped". What should I do?

The "shipped" status is not available from the PayPal system (see PayPal FAQs). Thus, Descartes ShipRush Web is only aware of Orders shipped within Descartes ShipRush Web.

The solution is to mark those shipped Orders as shipped in Descartes ShipRush Web. This can be done by selecting those Orders in the Order list, and then clicking Mark as Shipped in the More menu (top of screen).
