eCom Label Solution


Descartes ShipRush Web supports customized label stock for eCom Label Solution.

Tip: Descartes ShipRush Web works best with the primary, supported printer type, Xerox 460.


Getting Started with eCom Labels

  1. Add a new printer in Windows, using the Xerox Global Print Driver PCL6.

  2. In Windows Control Panel, go to Devices and Printers.

  3. Right-click your newly installed printer, and then select Printing Preferences.

  4. On the Paper/Quality tab, select the tray from which you want to print (typically, tray 3).

  5. Click Advanced. Set the Paper Size to Legal (8.5 x 14).

  6. On the Advanced tab, find the “Rotate Image 180…” option, and then click Setup.

  7. In the new setup dialog, select Subsequent 180 Degree Rotation.

  8. Select All Page Size and Portrait and Landscape Pages in the fields below.

  9. Apply the changes, and then close Printing Preferences.

  10. Launch Descartes ShipRush Web, and then go to SETTINGS > ACCOUNT SETTINGS > Packing List.

  11. Select Auto Print Packing List.


  12. Select an “Integrated – eCom…” template for printing. Do the following:

    • On the Printing Method dropdown, select Print to Laser/Inkjet.

    • On the Packing list template dropdown, select an “Integrated – eCom…” option that is appropriate to your label stock.


  13. On the Printing Method dropdown, select ShipRush Cloud Print.

  14. Install the Desktop Toolkit (if not installed).

  15. Select your eCom Label compatible printer for the Printer Name. Select Laser/Inkjet for the Printer Type.

All of your shipments will now print to your eCom label stock. These are examples of your Windows Printer settings:
