Use the "More" Menu to Accelerate Your Work!

Overview of More Menu

The More menu includes a variety of options that streamline and accelerate your work. It includes options for shipping, Orders, labels, Packing Lists, exporting information, the Address Book, Automation Rules, and email notifications, as well as enabling Turbo Mode, switching to compact view, and restoring Amazon customer information.

Tip: Many of the More menu options are available elsewhere in Descartes ShipRush Web. The More menu provides quicker access to those options.

The More menu button is at the top of the screen. (You may need to click Back to see the More button.)

More Menu Options

The More menu includes these options:

Ship (label to PDF)

The Ship (label to PDF) menu option bypasses the printing settings and prints the displayed Order or selected Orders to a PDF label. Use this option when labels need to be emailed elsewhere for printing (for example, to a warehouse for drop-shipping).

New Order

The New Order menu option displays the Editing Order page (see below) where you enter a new Order manually but with fewer fields. Use this option for Orders received by email or phone. After entering the information, click Back to save the Order. The saved Order is listed in the All and Ready to Ship folders. Also, if the Order is not marked Paid, then it is listed in the Waiting for Payment folder. When you reopen the Order from one of those folders, it contains all fields.

Clone Order

The Clone Order menu option can be used to clone an existing Order to create a brand new, draft Order. The buyer information and line items are copied to the new Order. This option is a quick and easy way to ship the same items to the same recipient, multiple times. A cloned Order is saved to the Draft Shipments folder until it is shipped and thus moved to the Shipped folder.

See Cloning Orders for details.

Combine to 1

The Combine to 1 menu option can be used to combine multiple Orders with the same destination into one Shipment.

Warning: Combined Orders cannot be un-combined.

Note: Before using Combine to 1, see Combining Orders into One Shipment for detailed steps and important parameters.

Bulk Edit Shipments

The Bulk Edit Shipments menu option can be used to execute bulk edit Shipments. See Bulk Shipping and Applying Presets to Multiple Shipments for details.

The Prt Unprted Pk Lists (Ready to Ship) menu option can be used to print the Packing Lists that have not yet been printed for the selected Orders/Shipments.

Print Pick List

The Print Pick List menu option can be used to create and print a Pick List from an Orders/Shipments list. See Printing a Pick List for details.

Export shipments to Excel

The Export shipments to Excel menu option can be used to generate a "quick" MS Excel file, containing Order information for the selected Orders/Shipments.

To execute Export shipments to Excel:

  1. Display a Shipments list.

  2. Select Shipments/Orders by checking their boxes (at far left).

  3. On the More menu, click Export Shipments to Excel. The file generated is similar to the Report - Excel Default file.

Reprint

The Reprint menu option can be used to reprint labels as well as Packing Lists or INTL paperwork, if previously printed, for one or more Shipments. See Reprinting and Voiding Labels for details.

Note: The Reprint option is not available for the Shipment if the label was not originally printed from within Descartes ShipRush Web.

Add to Address Book

The Add to Address Book menu option can be used to add addresses from the selected Ready to Ship or Shipped Orders to the Address Book.

Tip: A quick way to build your Address Book is to first search for specific Orders/Shipments, select Orders/Shipments in the search results, and then click Add to Address Book on the More menu. The Search field is at the top left of the screen:

Run All Enabled Rules

The Run All Enabled Rules menu option can be used to run all enabled Automation Rules against the selected Order(s).

Warning: Executing Run All Enabled Rules could have undesirable consequences. For example, this could happen if you are unaware of a particular Automation Rule, a Master Automation Rule is enabled, or believe that an enabled Automation Rule is disabled. Review the Warnings in the Automation Rules topics before executing Run All Enabled Rules.

Request Pickup

The Request Pickup menu option can be used to send a request to the Carrier (via API communication) to pickup the selected Shipments at your location. This option works for UPS, FedEx, Canpar, DHL Express, and possibly others. (Additional Carriers may be enabled for Request Pickup at any time.)

Note: You must have already shipped at least one package that day in order to use Request Pickup.

Send Email Notifications

The Send Email Notifications menu option can be used to send the most recent email notifications for the displayed Order or the selected Orders. An email notification reports Shipment, Tendered, Delivery, or Exception for the Order, depending on the Carrier.

Note: Email notifications are also sent automatically, if configured for the Carrier.

The Marked as shipped menu option can be used to manually mark the displayed Order or the selected Orders (in the Ready to Ship or Waiting on Payment folder) as "shipped". The Order is then moved to the Shipped folder.

Warning: The Mark as cancelled option can be applied to Orders stored in any folder, including the Shipped folder. If you cancel an Order in error, you can mark the Order as not cancelled.

Warning: The Orders deleted from the Draft Shipments folder cannot be retrieved.

The Load ZPK menu option can be used to open saved ZPK files. On the More menu, click Load ZPK to display the "Drag files here" window. Drag the .zpk files to the window, or click Choose File and then select the .zpk file.

Save ZPK

The Save ZPK menu option can be used to save the displayed Order/Shipment or selected Orders/Shipments to an external .zpk file (outside of Descartes ShipRush Web). On the More menu, click Save ZPK. Click Open to open the file or Save as to both open and save the file.

Note: "ZPK" stands for zfirm package.

Enable Turbo Mode

The Enable Turbo Mode menu option should be used if you work in a slower environment. It disables certain animations that are not necessary to perform your work.
