Printer: Shipping Labels for Carrier Accounts

Warning: Labels are created for the type of printer set at the time of shipping. Thus, for example, if the printer type is set to Laser when the shipment is made, Descartes ShipRush Web expects to find a laser printer. If the printer type is changed to Zebra, a reprint of the labels will not work because the system is looking for a laser printer.

To set up printing of Shipping labels for a Carrier account:

  1. Click SETTINGS, select the Carrier, and then select the Carrier account.

  2. Click Printer: Shipping Label. The Shipping Label page is displayed.

  3. Printing Method: Select a printing option.

    1. "Print to Laserjet/Inkjet": Prints on a laser or inkjet printer.

    2. "Do not print": The labels are not printed. They are stored and can be downloaded for printing.
