Printer: Letter Post (ShipRush USPS)

ShipRush USPS includes support for Letter Post. Letter post prints on 4"x6" labels, on a Zebra or laser printer.

To configure printing for Letter Post:

1. Display the ShipRush USPS - Letter Post page (SETTINGS > ShipRush USPS > Printer: Letter Post).

1. Printing Method: 

• "Print to Laserjet/Inkjet": Prints on a laser or inkjet printer referenced in the Printers folder on your system.
• "Do not print": The labels are not printed. They are stored and can be downloaded for printing.
• "ShipRush Cloud Print": Prints on a thermal or laser printer connected either locally or remotely to a Windows or Mac computer. You can also print from a tablet or iPad. 

1. Print Reference: If selected, the Shipment reference will be printed on the label.
2. Printer Name: (Available if Printing Method "ShipRush Cloud Print" is selected.) Select a printer.

If Printer Name does not list any printers, press F5 to refresh the page. If printers are still not listed, position the cursor on the Printer Name information icon (), and then follow the displayed instructions.

1. Printer Type: (Available if the Printing Method "ShipRush Cloud Print" is selected.) Select "Laser/Inkjet" or "Zebra thermal printer".
2. Horizontal Margin, inch:

• The default value is "0".
• If the printout needs to move right or left on the label, try the value "5" or "10".
• Click Print Test Label to test the printout.
• As needed, try entering a different value.

1. Vertical Margin, inch: 

• The default value is "0".
• If the label needs to move down the page, try value "5" or "10" for thermal printers, or "0.02" or "0.04" for laser printers or PDFs.
• Click Print Test Label to test the printout.
• As needed, try entering a different value.

1. Rotate/Flip: If selected, ShipRush rotates the printout 90-degrees on laser printers.
2. Download Labels as PDF: (Available if Printing Method "Print to Laser/Inkjet" is selected.) If selected, the label will be downloaded as a PDF file. The PDF file can be opened later for printing, emailing, etc. 
3. Save Label to Disk: (Available if Printing Method "ShipRush Cloud Print" is selected.) If Save Label to Disk is selected, labels will be auto-saved to disk. Choose a file naming method. To see the directory where the labels are saved, use the menu on the ShipRush Web Toolbox.
4. Do Not Print: (Available if Printing Method "ShipRush Cloud Print" and Save Labels to Disk are selected.) If Do Not Print is selected, the labels are stored and can be downloaded for printing later.
5. To print a test label, click Print Test Label.
