If you did not select Documents Only (previous step), then add a Commodity to the Shipment. Do one of the following:
Click Add Commodity. Enter the information, as needed.
Click the magnifying glass icon to display the list of stored Commodities. Click a Commodity in the list to add it to the Shipment. (See Managing Commodities - Adding a Commodity for details on storing a list of Commodities.)
As needed, repeat the previous step to add more Commodities to the Shipment. The bottom row shows the Total weight of all goods and the Invoice total. For example:
-
In the Package area (top of screen):
Enter the total Weight for the Shipment. In most cases, the Shipment Weight (entered in the Package area) must be equal to or greater than the combined weight of all Commodities in the Shipment.
Enter the Shipment's Declared Value. On the dropdown, select the currency. The Declared Value cannot be greater than the total value of all Commodities in the Shipment.
-
If the Shipment is COD:
Select C.O.D.
Enter the COD amount.
Select the currency.
On the Funds dropdown, select Check, Cashiers Check or MO or Cash.
In the Editing Shipment form, as needed, fill-in the remaining fields and select from various options. See Creating a Shipment for details on the fields and options.
