In Descartes ShipRush Web, you can specify HazMat for FedEx Express and FedEx Ground Shipments. The Show HazMat shipping option must be made available, and the Hazardous Materials option is selected for the Shipment. See the following sections for instructions.

Enabling the FedEx HazMatOption

To enable the HazMat option for FedEx Express and FedEx Ground:

1. Go to SETTINGS > FEDEX > your FedEx account > Advanced.

2. Select Show HazMat shipping. The Hazardous Materials option is now available for FedEx Express and FedEx Ground Shipments.

Specifying HazMat for FedEx Ground or Express Shipment

To specify HazMat for a FedEx Ground or Express Shipment:

1. Display the Editing Shipping form (see the graphic below).

2. On the From dropdown, select a FedEx account.

3. On the Service dropdown, select a FedEx Ground or FedEx Express Service.

4. Under Special Materials, select Hazardous Materials. Select an item in the dropdown. Various fields are displayed, depending on your selection.

5. Fill-in the fields, if displayed.

   Tip: Refer to the FedEx Hazardous Materials Shipping Guide or contact FedEx support for details on entering needed information.

Note: Descartes ShipRush Web can print the OP 900 form. By default, the OP 900 form will print to what you have set in the Settings | Printer: International - area.
