FedEx IGC (International Ground Consolidation)

FedEx International Ground Consolidation (IGC) is a managed contract service that must be enabled for the FedEx account before it can be used in Descartes ShipRush Web. Shipments are processed as FedEx International Ground.

To use FedEx IGC:

  1. Enable ETD (Electronic Trade Documents):

  • Go to SETTINGS > your FedEx account > Customs Forms.

  • Select Go paperless and upload these documents (aka Electronic Trade Documents).



2. Set the default Importer and Broker addresses:

  • Go to SETTINGS > your FedEx account > Advanced.

  • Select Importer Address, and then enter the information.

  • Select Broker Address, and then enter the information.


3. Select or enter FedEx Broker Select and other options in the International area:

  • Go to SETTINGS > your FedEx account > Shipment Defaults.

  • Scroll to International Defaults.

  • Select FedEx International Broker Sel . . .

  • Select and enter other options, as needed.



4. Enter or select Commodity options in Commodity Defaults:

  • Go to SETTINGS > your FedEx account > Shipment Defaults.

  • Scroll to Commodity Defaults.

  • Enter or select the options, as needed.
