Special Handling/Fragile is a premium service offered by USPS that enables more careful handling of your Shipment. There is a surcharge for this service. Special Handling/Fragile is available for all USPS domestic services.

Selecting "Special Handling/Fragile" for a Shipment

The Special Handling / Fragile option can be selected on the Editing Shipment page. Click the arrow button at the right of the Size fields to display the Special Handling / Fragile checkbox.

Selecting "Special Handling/Fragile" by Default for New Shipments

Special Handling/Fragile can be selected by default for all new Shipments. Click SETTINGS, click SHIPRUSH USPS, and then click Shipment Defaults. Select Fragile (the checkbox is highlighted at the bottom of this graphic):
