Highlights
UPS Ground Saver replaces all UPS SurePost services
We introduced UPS Ground Saver as the new standard service, replacing all UPS SurePost options. This change includes two key updates:
-
UPS SurePost Removal
As UPS phases out its SurePost service names, we have:-
Removed all SurePost options from:
Settings > Service Configuration
Shipping screen dropdowns
Rate-shopping comparisons
Presets and automation rules
Ensured consistency across ShipRush so you no longer see deprecated SurePost entries anywhere in the UI.
-
-
UPS Ground Saver Expansion
UPS has consolidated its old SurePost weight tiers into a single UPS Ground Saver service. We’ve updated ShipRush to support this unified offering for every UPS account in one Ground Saver service:-
Full weight range is supported:
-
Under 1 lb (≤ 15.9 oz):
Automatically submits with the correct services
Weight passed in ounces
-
1 lb and over:
Continues to submit with the correct services
Weight passed in pounds
-
Removed legacy SurePost services so Ground Saver is now the only available option for those weight bands.
-
These updates ensure you’re always using the latest UPS services with the correct routing and rating—no action required on your part!
New Features and Enhancements
🟪 FedEx Hub-IDs update: Following FedEx’s recent location and ID revisions, we’ve refreshed our list of available hubs by adding two new Hub-IDs:
5902 – LACA
5087 – EDNJ
These additions ensure you have access to the latest FedEx destinations when creating shipments.
Optimizations
🟦 Improved Performance: Under the hood, we’ve optimized our database structure and versioning to deliver:
Faster load times: Quicker screen transitions and reduced wait times across the entire ShipRush application.
Future-ready foundation: This performance boost paves the way for exciting new features and enhancements down the road.
Resolved Issues
🟩 DHL Paket Address Validation: We resolved an issue by delegating all street and house number validation for DHL Paket shipments to DHL’s official address-checking service. This update ensures:
Consistent, up-to-date checks: DHL's system handles every possible variation—whether your house number is attached to the street name or entered separately.
Clear, actionable error messages: If you see an “Invalid address” error, it means DHL’s service has flagged your street/house number combination as invalid. Simply double-check and adjust your entry (for example, adding or removing the house number suffix) to match DHL’s requirements.
By relying on DHL’s own address database, we guarantee the highest possible delivery success rate without requiring you to format nuances. If you encounter any address errors, please review your input and try again.
