A new version of the Royal Mail integration is now available. To ensure continued, uninterrupted shipping operations, all users must migrate to this new integration by October 1st. Please follow the steps below carefully to complete the migration process.
Migration Steps to Royal Mail V3
Log in to your EasyPost account.
Navigate to the Carriers menu under Account Settings.
Create a new Royal Mail Version 3 account by clicking on "Add Carrier", searching for EasyPost Royal Mail and entering your account information. Note: please do not remove your current Royal Mail account in your EasyPost environment.
It will take 2-5 business days to get the account approved, please let us know the account and we will reach out to EasyPost support for faster activation.
Once the Royal Mail V3 account is successfully created and approved in EasyPost, log in to your ShipRush account.
Go to Accounts in the top menu and click on Add Carrier Account. Note: Do not remove your current Royal Mail account from your ShipRush environment.
Select EasyPost Royal Mail in the carrier configuration menu.
Follow the wizard, and enter all required fields. In particular you need to pay attention to the field required when you have multiple Royal Mail accounts, since we are asking you to create an additional account next to the one already active the EasyPost Royal Mail Carrier Account ID should be entered, starting with ca_.....
When finished, you will have Royal Mail V3 configured in both EasyPost and ShipRush.

Review your Automation Rules related to Royal Mail:
If rules reference Royal Mail services, update them for the new integration and services.
If not, you may continue using your existing rules.

Review your Royal Mail-related presets:
If presets relate to Royal Mail services or a specific carrier account, update them for the new integration.
If not, you may continue using your existing presets.
After completing these steps, you are ready to move over to the new Royal Mail integration.
You have successfully finished the migration manual for moving your Royal Mail part of the shipping o=operation to a new version.
Important notes about UI Changes compared to the current Royal Mail integration
During shipping, the system will validate your selection and notify you if the wrong Royal Mail account is chosen for your shipment. After the migration, make sure to use your new account for all shipments.
Within the settings, you can easily identify whether your Royal Mail account is for the new or old integration. Refer to the screenshots below for visual guidance, accounts labeled with "V3" indicate they are set up with the new integration.
