This integration lets you purchase and print postage directly in ShipRush, so you can handle low-cost domestic and international letter shipments without leaving the platform. New Features and Enhancements
UPS – EEI/FTR Filing: Ultimate Consignee Type Support
🟪 Added support for specifying the Ultimate Consignee Type in UPS EEI/FTR filings.
UPS requires the Ultimate Consignee Type to be included when submitting EEI/FTR data for international shipments, particularly for shipments with a declared value exceeding $2,500 USD. Previously, the absence of this value could prevent successful filing and shipment execution. We have updated the integration to automatically include and use the correct Ultimate Consignee Type, in line with UPS documentation and compliance requirements. This ensures smoother processing and successful execution of high-value international shipments. If you need to adjust the importer details, you can still do so via the Importer Address fields in the shipment form within the UI.
Resolved Issues
UPS – Special Characters on Shipping Labels
🟩 Resolved an issue where special characters on UPS shipping labels were rendered as question marks.
In some cases, characters outside the basic ASCII set (such as accented Latin characters or non-Latin scripts) were not processed correctly during ZPL label generation, resulting in unreadable labels.
We have updated the UPS ZPL label processing to properly support extended Latin characters as well as non-Latin scripts, ensuring accurate text rendering and improved international address readability on printed labels.
DHL Paket – Address State Validation Fix
🟩 Resolved an issue with the “state” field when creating DHL Paket shipments within the EU.
Some EU countries do not support or expect a U.S.-style state value, which caused shipment creation errors in certain cases. To align with DHL’s address requirements, we have updated the request mapping to send the province field instead of state where applicable.
This change ensures improved address validation and successful shipment ordering across EU destinations.
