Important

UPS® & FedEx® Migration to REST APIs + OAuth

Both UPS and FedEx have announced upcoming mandatory deadlines to migrate all integrations to their new REST APIs, which include updated OAuth-based security protocols. Most ShipRush users have already completed this transition. If you have already migrated your UPS or FedEx accounts to the new REST connections, no action is required.

However, if you are still using legacy API connections, you must migrate before the carrier deadlines below to avoid disruptions in rating, shipping, and tracking.

UPS Migration

Deadline: March 27, 2026
To continue using UPS services in ShipRush, all accounts must be connected using the new REST + OAuth authentication method.

FedEx Migration

Deadline: March 31, 2026
FedEx will discontinue legacy authentication and requires all integrations to use REST and OAuth for secure access to FedEx services.

New Features and Enhancements

🟪 ShipRush Desktop now supports the newest version of the Sage 50 webstore. The upgrade requires no workflow changes.

Resolved Issues

🟩 A validation issue affecting FedEx Envelope weight handling for shipments has been resolved. Previously, users were required to enter a value in the pounds field even when a valid weight in ounces had already been provided, which triggered an unnecessary validation error. ShipRush now automatically converts ounces to pounds internally, allowing you to enter weight in either unit while ensuring FedEx receives the correct normalized value.

🟩 The FedEx Account Verification screen incorrectly labeled the invoice verification field as Account Number which could cause confusion during setup. The affected field now correctly displays Invoice Number.

🟩 An issue affecting FedEx Ground Economy rate requests has been resolved. Previously, some shipments returned inaccurate or missing rates because ShipRush did not consistently request account-based pricing correctly. In some cases, Ground Economy options were also omitted from rate shopping for shipments over 1 lb. ShipRush now sends the correct ACCOUNT rate request type to FedEx and automatically applies the appropriate Ground Economy subtype based on shipment weight.
