Setting Up OsCommerce in Descartes ShipRush Web
You need FTP access to your OsCommerce store in order to setup OsCommerce in Descartes ShipRush Web. If you do not have FTP access, contact your web master or have your web master perform the setup.

To setup OsCommerce in Descartes ShipRush Web:
Click SETTINGS, and then click Add Web Store (top of screen). The Web Store Configuration dialog is displayed.
On the Select a Web Store dropdown, select OsCommerce.
Click Next. The OSCommerce Setup Instructions dialog is displayed.
Do one of the following:
To perform the setup manually, click FTP not working? Click to setup manually, and then go through the wizard. You will download a zip file. Review the readme file included in the zip file.
To setup automatically, click I HAVE FTP SERVER AND LOGIN. Go through the wizard until complete.

The OsCommerce integration is done via the PHP plugin that you upload to your OsCommerce server. As part of the setup wizard, you can use the built-in FTP option to install the plugin or manually upload the kit. The kit is available in the setup wizard and, after setup, by using the Edit option on the Web Store.
You can provide Descartes ShipRush Web with either a secure (https) or non-secure (http) URL to your system. We strongly recommend that you provide a secure HTTPS:// URL.
The PHP plugin for OsCommerce can be customized to retrieve additional information from your OsCommerce system. This feature can be used to pull attributes that Descartes ShipRush Web does not pull, or to modify data as it flows to Descartes ShipRush Web. This option requires the services of a programmer. The Descartes ShipRush Web Support team does not support customization of the plugin.
