Descartes® is pleased to announce the latest release of ShipRush. This update includes various improvements designed to enhance system performance and user experience. Highlights
Multi Package Shipping Improvements
We’ve enhanced the multi-package shipping functionality in ShipRush. A new multiplier option has been added to the Repeat function in the package section of the shipment form. This allows you to quickly duplicate a package multiple times when creating identical shipments, saving you even more time.
How it works:
Log in to ShipRush and either create a new shipment or open an existing one.
In the Package section, next to the Repeat button, you’ll now see a new input field. This field is used to specify how many times you want to duplicate the selected package.
Enter the number of repeats you need and click Repeat.
ShipRush will automatically add the specified number of identical packages based on the selected package.
For example, if you enter 5, ShipRush will add five additional identical packages, resulting in a total of 6 packages (the original plus 5 repeats, see the screenshot below).

Introduction to our Automation Rule fields
We’ve improved the Automation Rules configuration experience in ShipRush. To make setting up rules even easier, we have added a Quick Search function inside the Filter and Action dropdown menus. This lets you quickly find the fields you want to filter or act on without scrolling through long lists.
How it works:
Log in to ShipRush.
Navigate to the Rules menu at the top of the screen, and click Add Automation Rule or Edit Automation Rule.
In the Filters or Actions section, open the dropdown menu.
At the top left of the dropdown, you’ll now see a Quick Search field. Simply type your search term, and all matching options will be highlighted instantly.
For example, typing "Ship" will highlight all filter or action options containing the word "Ship," helping you quickly locate the right field.

New Features and Enhancements
🟪 ShipRush USPS international shipping to Switzerland: We’ve made an important update to improve international shipping to Switzerland through USPS in ShipRush. To ensure compliance with Swiss customs regulations, ShipRush now validates the VAT Tax ID entered in the Customs Reference field when shipping from the United States to Switzerland. This helps prevent customs delays and ensures smoother deliveries.

Resolved Issues
🟩 DHL Paket Dimensions Limitation: We have resolved an issue affecting shipments using Warenpost and Kleinpaket services with DHL Paket. Previously, an incorrect validation error stated that the maximum height was 5 cm, this was inaccurate. The correct maximum for is:
Warenpost: 10 cm
Kleinpaket: 8 cm
This validation has now been updated to correctly allow up to the given dimension limitations.
