Enabling the Modern Interface
The newer, more modern interface used in Descartes ShipRush Web becomes active once you create an account. To determine whether the interface is active:
Go to SETTINGS > ACCOUNT SETTINGS.
Under User Settings, click General Settings.
In the Settings dialog, confirm that Modern interface is selected.

We take orders over the phone. Is Descartes ShipRush Web for us? Yes. Descartes ShipRush Web can act as a phone-order shipping system, allowing you to enter Orders manually. Typically, the New Order option (on the More menu) is used for Orders received via phone or email. Also, please note that Descartes ShipRush Web can connect to your QuickBooks accounting system as well as other business management systems.
Can Descartes ShipRush print labels in bulk (e.g., batches of labels at one time)? You can choose to print one label at a time, or 5, 20, 50, 100, or any number of labels at a time--with one click. Automation Rules can be used to automate shipping and the printing of labels.
Does Descartes ShipRush work with a thermal label printer (e.g., Zebra)? Yes. Use a supported thermal printer for best results. You can also use a laser or an inkjet printer.

Does Descartes ShipRush Work with an Eltron or Dymo or 2844 printer? These printer models are not officially supported but can be made to work by setting up the printer as a "laser printer" and adjusting the margins so the labels are printed correctly. Do the following:
Go to SETTINGS > select a Carrier > Printer: Shipping Label.
On the Printer dropdown, select Laser/Injet.
Enter the Horizontal Margin and Vertical Margin.
Tip: For the best results, acquire a supported thermal printer. These printers are fast, reliable, and fully supported by Descartes ShipRush Web Support.
