Descartes ShipRush Web can provide a generic End Of Day document for UPS or FedEx. The printing of these documents is triggered by Closing the Shipping Day and is useful for viewing an Unofficial end of day/scan sheet for your driver (thus avoiding the scanning of boxes individually) or if you simply need a document for your own recordkeeping.

These documents can be enabled on your shipping account SETTINGS page (see below).

Enabling the Generic End-of-Day Report

To enable the Generic End of Day Paper work for UPS or FedEx:

1. Go to: SETTINGS > your UPS or FedEx account.

2. Scroll to Additional End of Day Paperwork.
   
   
   

3. Select one of the four options:

   • Off: No additional paperwork will be created at End Of Day

   • Summary: End of Day summary will be created

   • Manifest: End of Day manifest will be created

   • Both: Both End of Day summary and manifest will be created

4. Click Back (upper right) to save the changes.

Generating End-of-Day Report

Once configured, the End of Day paperwork is printed once you Close the Shipping Day. Do the following:

1. Click Accounts.

2. On the dropdown, click the Close shipping day sunrise icon for the Carrier account.
   
   

Tip: You can also close the shipping day for all accounts. Click the sunrise icon on the right of + Add Carrier Account.
