Easypost Service Notes

Note: For regular postage printing, including discounted postage rates, please use Descartes ShipRush Web v2 Postage.

Individual NSA

To setup Descartes ShipRush Web to use your own Postal NSA via Easypost:

  1. Create an Easypost account at www.easypost.com/signup?utm_source=descartes.

  2. Send an email to Support@easypost.com with this suggested subject line: Please Load Our USPS Contract Rates.
    Tip: Include the email address that was used to signup on EasyPost.com and the company name that you have associated to the contract with the USPS.

  3. Easypost works with USPS to load your NSA rates into their system. This process can take two or three weeks to complete.

  4. If you are already using Descartes ShipRush Web, please email support@shiprush.com to enable Easypost on your account (be sure to tell us the email address you use to log in to Descartes ShipRush).

  5. If you have not yet used Descartes ShipRush Web, create an account at https://my.shiprush.com. Please email support@shiprush.com to enable Easypost on your account. Be sure to tell us the email address you use to log in to Descartes ShipRush Web.

  6. If you are already using easypost.shiprush.com, you are ready to go.

  7. In Descartes ShipRush Settings, click Add Shipping Account (top of screen), and select Easypost USPS as the Carrier.

  8. Enter your Easypost API Key (found at www.easypost.com) and the rest of your account information as prompted in the setup wizard.


Consolidator Support

Descartes ShipRush Web supports APC Logistics, Asendia, Globegistics, RR Donnelly, and DHL Ecommerce (formerly known as DHL Global Mail):

  1. Create an Easypost account at www.easypost.com/signup?utm_source=descartes.

  2. Send an email to Support@easypost.com and have your APC or DHL rates loaded into your Easypost account.

  3. In Descartes ShipRush Web, go to SETTINGS, click Add Shipping Account, and then select the appropriate option.

  4. Complete the wizard.


Individual MID

Individual MID (Mailer Identifier) is supported both via Descartes ShipRush Discount Postage and Easypost individual accounts. If you have an Easypost individual account, contact Easypost support with the email address of your Easypost account and your MID. They will perform the configuration.
