HAZMAT Shipping
See UPS Hazmat Shipping for details.
Ship Date
Although certain Carriers print a ship date on the label, UPS does not. UPS shipments do not have a ship date and do not provide a place to enter a ship date. This practice is not part of the UPS service offering.
UPS "Alternative" Return Address
UPS does not have an option to enter an Alternate label Return Address. However, these two options can be used to put an alternate address on your label:
Option One: Edit the 'Ship From Address' in the Order
Open the Order that needs an alternate ship from address.
Click Rate (top of screen) to display the estimated rate (based on the selected "From" address).
Make a note of the rate amount. This amount should apply to the address from which the package is physically shipped.
Expand the From area in the form to see the full address.
Click the Edit Ship from address button (with the pen icon).
Change the ship from address to the address you would like to display on the label.
Ship as you normally would.
The label will show the "alternate" ship from address (entered in step 6). However, the rate displayed will reflect as if the package was shipped from this same address. UPS will invoice you based on the physical address.
Option Two: Set a Second Default 'Ship From Address'
Go to SETTINGS > UPS > your UPS account.
Scroll to Ship From addresses.
Click Add Ship From Address.
Enter the information.
Click Save.
The next time you want to ship using this alternate address, select it on the From dropdown in the Editing Shipment form. The rate displayed will reflect the package being shipped from the same address. UPS will invoice you based on the physical address.
Dry Ice
To enable the Dry Ice option and select Dry Ice for the Shipment:
Go to SETTINGS > UPS > your UPS account.
Select Enable Dry Ice.
3. On the Editing Shipment screen, in the Special Materials area, select Dry Ice.
4. If the dry ice is for a medical purpose, select Medical.
5. Enter the number of lbs of dry ice.
