If the printer has multiple trays, it may be useful to print shipping labels to one tray and packing lists (or other paperwork) to another tray. You would need to create multiple printers in the Windows Printer folder.
The printers in the Printer folder are "virtual" printers and appear as discrete printers to your software. These virtual printers all route to the same physical printer.
To set up printing using two trays:
Select Printing Preferences for the existing printer in the Printer folder. Set this printer to print to the desired tray.
To add another printer, click Add Printer, and then go through the Wizard. Assign the printer a unique name (such as "LASER TRAY 2").
Set the printing preferences for the second printer, as needed.
In Settings, set each printer selector to print to the desired printer.
