USPS Signature Options
These signature options are available:
None: No signature is collected
Signature Required: Signature is collected on delivery (package is not delivered without a signature)
Adult Signature Required: Signature from an adult 21-years or older must be obtained on delivery; the signer does not have to be the addressee
Adult Signature Restricted Delivery: Signature from the addressee must be obtained on delivery; the addressee must be 21 years of age or older; signature from someone other than the addressee is not acceptable
Selecting a Signature Confirmation Option for a Shipment
A Signature Confirmation option can be selected for the Shipment. On the Editing Shipment page, select an option on the Signature Confirmation dropdown.
Selecting a Signature Confirmation Default Option for New Shipments
To set a Signature Confirmation option by default for new Shipments:
Display the Shipment Defaults page (SETTINGS > select the Carrier account > Shipment Defaults).
As highlighted in the above graphic, you can:
Set "Signature Required" if the value is greater than a certain amount.
Select a Signature Confirmation option.
The option selected above will be the default selection for new Shipments.

Obtaining Copy of Signature
Per USPS, the delivery status and signature are available for one year after the date of delivery. To obtain a copy of the signature, do one of the following:
Call USPS at 1-800-222-1811 (Hours of Operation are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 8:30 PM Eastern Time)
Request a copy of the signature via fax, mail, or email. There is no charge for this service.
Please note:
Faxed receipts are usually processed within two hours, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year
Mailed receipts are sent as First-Class Mail® items and should arrive in two-to-three business days
