Important note
UPS & FedEx Migration to REST APIs + OAuth
Both UPS and FedEx have announced upcoming mandatory deadlines to migrate all integrations to their new REST APIs, which include updated OAuth-based security protocols.
Most ShipRush users have already completed this transition. If you have already migrated your UPS or FedEx accounts to the new REST connections, no action is required.
However, if you are still using legacy API connections, you must migrate before the carrier deadlines below to avoid disruptions in rating, shipping, and tracking.
UPS Migration
Deadline: March 27
To continue using UPS services in ShipRush, all accounts must be connected using the new REST + OAuth authentication method.

FedEx Migration
Deadline: March 31
FedEx will discontinue legacy authentication and requires all integrations to use REST and OAuth for secure access to FedEx services.

New Features and Enhancements
Sage 50 Webstore Integration Update
🟪Sage 50 version update ensuring the ShipRush Desktop shipping operation
ShipRush Desktop has been updated to support the newest version of the Sage 50 webstore. This update improves compatibility, enhances stability during order imports, and ensures continued support for users working with the latest Sage 50 environment. The upgrade requires no workflow changes—ShipRush now communicates seamlessly with the updated integration.
Resolved Issues
🟩 FedEx Envelope Weight Handling Corrected
Previously, FedEx Envelope shipments required an entry in the pounds field even when a valid weight in ounces was provided, causing an incorrect validation error.
Solution: ShipRush now correctly converts ounces to pounds internally. Users may enter weight in either unit, and the system automatically supplies FedEx with the required normalized value.
🟩 Correct Label Displayed for FedEx Account Invoice Verification
The FedEx Account Verification screen incorrectly labeled the invoice verification field as “Account Number,” which could cause confusion during setup.
Solution: The label has been updated to correctly display Invoice Number, ensuring accurate data entry and reducing setup validation failures.
🟩 FedEx Ground Economy Rating Logic Corrected
Some users experienced inaccurate or missing Ground Economy rates due to ShipRush not requesting account‑based rates correctly. In certain cases, Ground Economy options were also missing in rate shopping for shipments over 1 lb.
Solution: ShipRush now sends the correct ACCOUNT rate request type to FedEx and automatically applies the appropriate Ground Economy subtype (under/over 1 lb). This ensures:
Correct negotiated account rates are returned
Ground Economy rates appear consistently
All eligible Ground Economy services show during rate shopping
This fix restores full alignment with FedEx’s Ground Economy rating requirements.
